Juventus Turin intends to continue their renaissance against Inter Milan.
Currently, these two teams are both in the Top 4 of Serie A separated by one point in favor of the Nerazzurri. After having experienced a very bad start in the league, Juventus managed to catch up to come back to 7 points behind the leader, AC Milan.
The Bianconeri have been undefeated in Serie A since November 27 and the reception of Atalanta. They aren’t particularly brilliant but do the job. Allegri’s men even remain on 4 consecutive victories against Empoli, La Spezia, Sampdoria and Salernitana. During the success against the red lantern, the Dybala – Vlahovic duo stood out. This relationship is the main power of the Turin club, despite the very likely departure of the Argentinian in the end of the season.
The Serbian striker who arrived from Fiorentina during the winter transfer window has already scored 5 goals in his new colors in all competitions. The only false note of recent weeks for Juve, and it is significant, comes from the elimination in the Champions League by Villareal (3-0).
On the other side, Inter has finally managed to rediscover the joys of a Scudetto after 10 years of waiting. The Interists logically won Serie A by relying on key men such as Conte, Lukaku, Martinez, Brozovic, Barela or Hakimi. 3 of its elements left in the off-season, including the Italian coach. Interist leaders had a hollow nose when they hired Simone Inzaghi. The former Lazio coach is doing a great job in Lombardy. Despite a slowdown in recent weeks, the Nerazzurri are still in the game for the title as they are only 6 points behind AC Milan and also have a game in hand. Victorious at Liverpool’s Anfield (0-1) on a superb strike from Martinez, Inter were however eliminated after the reverse of the first leg (2-0, 2-1 on aggregate). Since that success, Inzaghi’s men have been held in check by Torino and Fiorentina in Serie A.
Inter’s all-time record against Juventus is heavily in favor of the old lady, who lead 107W/57T/66L across 230 meetings
With a Scudetto race back on the line in Turin, there is a strong chance for juventus to advance however it will not be easy to the two teams.
