It seems that the enticing transfer saga of Paul Pogba is finally set to come to a close as the French midfield-ace is in favour of a dream return to Juventus.

As it stands, the 29 year-old’s current contract with Premier League giants Manchester United is set to expire at the end of the season. With the French international’s negotiations with the Red Devils still at a standstill with only over a month of the campaign remaining, it seems highly unlikely that Pogba will extend his stay at the Old Trafford.

According to reports from Tuttosport, Paris Saint-Germain have contacted the box-to-box midfielder’s officials and have made an intriguing offer in order to persuade the world-class midfielder in joining the Ligue 1 giants on a free transfer ahead of next year’s campaign.

However, it seems that Pogba has plans elsewhere as the holding midfielder has decided to stall negotiations with PSG and wait patiently for a call from the Bianconeri. Despite the possibility of being surrounded by an immense amount of world-class talents if he were to choose Paris as his next destination, the French maestro is eager to make his dream return to Turin since his €105M move to Manchester United in 2016.

With the Argentine Paulo Dybala set to depart the Old Lady at the end of the season as a free agent after negotiations collapsed and the club potentially set to offload Arthur in the summer, it is very likely that the Serie A giants would be open to have Pogba return to the Allianz stadium in order to strengthen their depth within the midfield for next year’s Serie A campaign.

Moreover, the French international would fit seamlessly into Allegri’s 4-3-3 system as the Italian tactician had a great relationship with Pogba after having coached him for two seasons while the two were both at Juventus.
