Lazio and AC Milan will face off at the Stadio Olimpico today in a crucial Serie A meeting for both sides.

The Rossoneri will be hoping to continue their Scudetto challenge after their cross-city rivals overtook them in the standings, whereas Lazio will look to secure a spot in Europe ahead of next season.

The match will kick off at 19:45 UK time, and it is expected that over half of the 23,000 fans at the Olimpico tonight will be Milan supporters. With Lazio president Claudio Lotito raising ticket prices, the Biancocelesti ultras will not be in attendance in an effort to protest the increased ticket costs.

The two sides met on two separate occasions this season, once in Serie A and the other being in the Coppa Italia quarter-finals. The Rossoneri came ahead in both matches, winning 2-0 and 4-0 respectively.

Milan have the chance to win three matches against Lazio in the same season for the first time since 2004-05.

Maurizio Sarri had doubts over the fitness of 10 players throughout the week, but the only player out on the sidelines tonight will be Pedro.

Stefano Pioli will be without Simon Kjaer, Ismael Bennacer and Alessandro Florenzi, but Zlatan Ibrahimovic will return to the bench after missing the last three games with a knee injury.
