With very little time remaining within this year’s Serie A campaign, Inter are blue-printing their squad ahead of next season as they are eager to sign the Real Madrid outcast Dani Ceballos.

So far this season, the 25 year-old play-maker has failed to impress Ancelotti since arriving at the capital club during the summer as he only made 12 appearances across all competitions for Los Blancos.

With the Spanish international’s contract set to expire in the summer of 2023, the Nerazzurri are analyzing the situation very closely as they are determined to acquire the Spaniard and tie him down to the San Siro, as per Tuttosport.

As it stands, Inzaghi’s roster is currently short of high-quality box-to-box midfielders as La Benemata only possess Marcelo Brozovic. The Emiliano tactician is set on purchasing a well-documented holding midfielder as Inter only obtained one point out of the three fixtures where the Croatian international was unavailable.

With the Nerazzurri prepared to offload the south-American pair of central midfielders Auturo Vidal Mattias Vecino at the end of the season, the club officials view Ceballos as an adequate alternative that can implement flare and creativity within the central area of the pitch.

Inter face a great deal of competition as the Premier League giants Liverpool and the Spanish side Valencia are both vying to acquire the Spanish midfield ace.
