Alejandro Camano, Lautaro Martinez’s agent, has recently touched on the Argentine’s future with Inter beyond this year’s campaign.

Despite having a slow start to this year’s campaign, the 24 year-old has proven to be a vital asset for the Nerazzurri as he managed to score 17 goals and provide three assists in 32 games played within the Serie A under Inzaghi at the helm of the Milanese club.

As a result of magnificent run of form throughout the second stretch of the season, Martinez has attracted an immense amount of interest as Premier League giants Manchester United, Tottenham, and Arsenal, as well as Atletico Madrid are all keen on signing the €70M talisman.

In an interview on an Italian TV show ¿Cómo te va?, Camano spoke about Martinez’s progress throughout his career since he kicked off his career: “Lautaro is growing as a player, let’s not forget that we are talking about a 24-year-old player. He is already consolidating himself as one of the most important strikers on the international scene.

“A new generation of strikers is coming into the world, there is the decline of several strikers over 35 years old, like Ronaldo, Benzema and the generation of guys like Lautaro is coming.”

In addition, the Argentine’s agent spoke about his client’s future with Inter:

“Lautaro is very focused on the World Cup, sometimes the press publishes things about a possible transfer, but Lautaro thinks about Inter, giving joy to the Inter fans, becoming champions and then working for the World Cup.

“We are not expecting or looking for a transfer, he is at Inter, he is happy, the city is wonderful. We’re thinking about Inter.”
