Despite being linked to several Premier League giants due to his eye-catching form, Victor Osimhen has pledged his loyalty to Napoli and his set to strive under Spalletti at the helm of the club for a consecutive campaign.

So far this season, the promising goalscorer has maintained a spectacular run of form as he managed to score 13 goals and provide two assists in 25 Serie A appearances for Il Partenopei.

As a result, the up-and-coming marksman has attracted the interest of Premier League clubs Manchester United and Arsenal, each set to match the Nigerian international’s lucrative €70M price-tag.

However, Osimhen has expressed in an interview with an Italian radio station Radio Kiss Kiss that he desires to stay in Naples alongside Spalletti next seasons: “Spalletti is a top manager and, along with his staff, they really helped me to improve my movement. I hope to stay a continue on this road with the manager in the next few years.

In addition, the prolific finisher has touched upon his current physical condition after suffering several injuries throughout this year’s campaign, including an ocular fracture which held him at bay for a total of three months: “For a few months now, I’ve felt completely fine,” Osimhen said when asked about his injury. “The doctors tell me I can even go on the pitch without a mask.

“I want to end the season as well as possible and can promise fans we will fight for the Scudetto next season.”
