Despite having an extremely active summer transfer window this year, it seems that Conte is not quite done with adjusting his squad as Tottenham are eager to sign the promising Udinese wing-back Destiny Udogie.

Since joining the Zebrette from Verona last year, the 19 year-old has been stellar as he scored five goals in 35 goals across all competitions throughout last year’s campaign. As a result, his remarkable displays has caught the interest from top clubs across Europe.

According to reports from Tuttomercato, the Premier League giants are prepared to offer an initial bid of €25m, which they feel is enough to convince Udinese to let their young starlet go despite his contract lasting until 2026.

Conte rates the under 19 Italian international very highly as he firmly believes that the rising star can perform very well under his three-in-the-back formation. The current Tottenham boss has continuously proven to have an exceptional ability of developing wing-backs, and Udogie could perhaps be the prodigy he requires within his squad that will allow Tottenham to be significant title contenders this season.
