The Bianconeri are eager to improve their squad ahead of this year’s Serie A campaign as Juventus are currently in pole-position for the Serbian international Filip Kostic.

According to reports from Fabrizio Romano, the Old Lady are set to fend off the 29 year-old wing-back from Premier League outfits West Ham as they have submitted a €16m bid to Bundesliga giants Frankfurt.

Since arriving to Frankfurt from Hamburg in the summer of 2019, Kostic has flourished and developed into a well-documented wing-back. The wide play-maker has played a pivotal role for Frankfurt, helping them clinch last year’s Europa League trophy over Rangers.

With Allegri currently short on high-quality full-backs, the club strongly believes that the Serbian will play a vital role this season, providing the Bianconeri with the necessary depth in order to compete in various competitions simultaneously.
